This is a one-off designed V-hull boat, originally made for off. 1 racing, designed by Norwegian Geir Arnestad and built in Divinycell/S-glass/Vinylester with crystomer. The boat was finished just ahead of the era of the sport-yachts in the early 1990s.
The Ocean Flyer is a 48footer and features racing history from the Martini Trophy S-Class back in the late 1990s, and should be a perfect contender for the upcoming Cowes - Monte Carlo race in 2013 and other sport/racing endurance races. Run it fast and run it in style!
Fitted with two Merlin Mack diesel engines rated at 920 hp each, Arneson ASD 10 surfacedrives and 6 blades Rolla props. Top speed is around 60 knots/68mph and this sport-yacht will deliver whether the water is dead flat or really bumpy.
Sleeps 4 in 2 cabins. Shower, toilet and dinette.
This is a classic offshore cruiser, a very nice boat well maintained and stored indoors that should make for loads of fun on the water.
