This was the first Goldfish 36 made. We did some photos up front of the boatshow in Oslo in March 2008.
I can tell you it was pretty cold, but luckily no snow. This year is something different, I’ll tell you!
Waiting for the helicopter to takeoff beacuse of fog, the guys in the boat spent some very cold couple of hours. But eventually we got the photos we wanted....
The 36 on the pics is powered by a pair of in-house modified Yanmar diesels called D-MAX 370 rated at 370 hp each. Coupled up with Bravo-1 XR drives the package make the 36 max out at 93mph which is damned fast with those small motors and the boat also handles great.
That this is a great package you’ll understand when told about the Round Britain race where two Goldfish 36’s competed for the overall win against far bigger boats. The guys got a first and second in class and 2nd and 4th overall.
